The heroin of the story is one cat. She lives in Shimokitazawa for a long time and loves it there. But she is sensitive to the surroundings. She feels the changing of Shimokitazawa.
One day, she went to the favorite shop and slept all day in front of the shop as usual. It’s her daily work. The shop teaches her that as time goes by, the building is getting old but inside of the building is getting brightly like her life. The shop not only tells her the philosophy of her life but also it makes her more fulfilled. But, as soon as she fell asleep as usual, she dreamt that this shop is being destroyed. She jumped with the scare. She runs down the street that she takes everyday to go to the shop. She named the street “ the depth street”. The street was not different from an usual day.
She got to the main street of Shimokitazawa. And she remembered that Shimokitazawa was a monotone town long time ago, but as time goes by Shimokitazawa becomes more colorful. And she feels many kinds of color more vividly after going to the shop. She remembered that dream again. She got afraid of losing these color.
Her heart began to flutter violently. She feels as if the part of Shimokitazawa she loves are getting broken down from older buildings.
